This Isn’t Another Book Talking at Her

It’s a real conversation about the things girls are actually dealing with.

Part guide, part workbook, and part big-sister talk, FitGurl: Strong Mind. Strong Body. Strong Life. gives teen girls honest encouragement, practical tools and space to figure out who they are—without telling them who they’re supposed to be.

Inside, she’ll explore:

  • Confidence and self-worth

  • Friendships, boundaries and red flags

  • Social media and comparison

  • Body image and body respect

  • Emotions and mental health

  • Movement, nutrition and real self-care

  • School, discipline and leadership

  • Becoming the girl she wants to be

She doesn’t need to be fixed. She needs to know she’s not alone.

It All Started With A Mother Trying To Reach Her Daughter

Ashley Jean is the founder of FitGurl 4 Life and a motivational speaker who brings her message to high schools, women’s wellness events, and women’s conferences.

But before she is an author or founder, she is a mother.

A single mom of three, Ashley wrote FitGurl: Strong Mind. Strong Body. Strong Life. after one of the most difficult seasons of her life, watching her teenage daughter struggle and realizing that love alone didn’t always tell her what to say or how to help her.

She began listening differently, asking better questions, and developing practical tools that helped her daughter reconnect with herself and her family.

Those tools became the heart of FitGurl, and eventually, this book.

Ashley writes the way she wishes someone had spoken to her when she was younger: honestly, warmly and without pretending to have everything figured out.

Her mission is to help girls become strong from the inside out and remind them that no one else can be who they are.

That’s their superpower.
